Is a 2/10 face rating good?
Last updated: August 2026
2 / 10 Short answer: an insult score - or a photo problem.
A 2/10 is one step up from the troll floor and still almost never a considered assessment. Real bottom-few-percent faces exist, but they involve stacked severe features - and raters who mean that say so. Most 2s are drive-by insults or a genuinely bad photo doing the damage.
The photo test
Before internalizing anything: retake at eye level in daylight, rear camera, arm fully extended or further, neutral expression. If your rating jumps two or more points between photos - and it usually does - the rating was measuring the photo.
If the number holds
- Active skin problems and high body fat are the two changeable inputs that most often push a face into the low bands. Both respond within months.
- Grooming reset: hair matched to face shape, brows, facial hair strategy - cheap, fast, visible.
- Then re-rate with the same photo standards and watch the delta, not the absolute number.

FAQ
Is a 2/10 rating ever accurate?
Rarely - genuine bottom-percentile scoring involves stacked severe features, not an average face on a bad day. Treat any 2 without a trait breakdown as noise.
How fast can a low score move?
Skin and grooming show in weeks, leanness in months. Two points of photo-rating movement in a season is common when the low score was input-driven.
